We see the next two-three months are good months. Definitely to grow by double digit,” Maruti Suzuki India Chairman R C Bhargava told reporters here. He said the sales had been growing since December 2008. “December 2008-July 2009 are great months.” However, Bhargava was cautious whether this trend would continue. He said the company was not forecasting anything beyond the next four months. “It is because there are so many global and national uncertainities. We don’t know what’s going to happen.” On their sales performance in rural areas, he hoped there would be a ‘marginal’ increase in sales this year. “As far as we are concerned the way we are growing it is going to be ‘marginal’ (in rural areas). Likely by 3-5 per cent,” he said.
