Rallison launches Fire Survival Cables,eyes Rs 500 cr turnover

In spite of the global economic recession, the Company was maintaining the growth of about 70 per cent form the last four years and this year also more than 70 per cent of growth was expected, he claimed. Babbar said last year the company"s turnover was Rs 325 crore, which was expected to jump to more than Rs 500 crore in the current fiscal. Babbar was conferred with the award for best entrepreneur of the country on August 28 by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Regarding expansion plan of the company, Babbar revealed that the company would pump in Rs 50 crore in the next year to start manufacturing of High Tension Wire in its plant in Chopanki in Rajasthan. The company was having its three manufacturing plant in Bhiwadi & Chopanki in Rajasthan and Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, Babbar said. He said that Remson, which is part of the group has recently started manufacturing CFLs, apart from home appliances and attained a turn over of Rs 150 crore.
