Shree Renuka Sugars Q4 net surges threefold

India"s biggest sugar refiner, Shree Renuka Sugars has reported a standalone net profit of Rs 48.2 crore, an increase of 298 per cent during the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as against the net profit of Rs 12.1 crore posted in the same period a year ago. - IVRCL: Value in restructuring">IVRCL: Value in restructuring - Shree Renuka Sugars jumps 4% - Shree Renuka at new 52-wk high on overseas acquisition - Simbhaoli Sugars back in black with Rs 72 cr profit - Renuka Sugars acquires Brazil firm for Rs 1,112 cr - Shri Renuka Sugars acquires Brazilian VDI Net sales and income from operation registered an increase of 58.78 per cent at Rs 886 crore during the reporting period as compared to Rs 558 crore reported in the corresponding period a year ago. The company"s total expenditure also rose by 50.50 per cent at Rs 751 crore as compared to Rs 499 crore during the two reporting periods. Stock of the company was trading marginally higher on the Bombay Stock Exchange at Rs 227.90, up 0.57 per cent against its yesterday"s close of Rs 226.60.
