Yash Raj Films to make TV content for Sony Entertainment

Yash Raj Films (YRF) has formally announced its entry into the television space, by joining hands with Sony Entertainment Television (SET), a leading Hindi genereal entertainment channel. Yash Chopra, chairman, YRF and Man Jit Singh, CEO, SET, announced the collaboration. Man Jit Singh, CEO, SET, said: “We’re thrilled and delighted to be working with Aditya Chopra and the talented team at YRF to create exceptional television content, which will be contemporary and engaging for audiences in India.” Yash Chopra said: “Yash Raj Films has been at the forefront in making feature films for almost four decades. We have created our own space with the efforts of a wonderful team. This collaboration gives us an opportunity of producing television content that we believe in and shows that will engage and entertain the large television audience in India.”

JLR recalls 40 Land Rovers in India
Tata group-owned Jaguar Land Rover on Thursday said it is recalling 40 Land Rover vehicles from India to fix a technical fault as part of an ongoing global process that started in July. The company is globally recalling all the vehicles of two diesel models — Discovery 3 and Range Rover Sport TDV6 — which were manufactured between November 2005 and April 2007.
